Located on the historic Aldasoro family ranch, Telluride Sleighs and Wagons offers guests an experience unlike anything before.
The Aldasoro Ranch was established in the early 1920s. Originally from the Basque Country in northern Spain, our family immigrated to the San Juan mountains to supply lamb and wool to the nearby mining camps in the high mountains in Telluride. Over the following decades, our family continued to live and ranch in the area while Telluride went through major changes. From booming mining town to near extinction, and finally rejuvenated by the creation of the ski area, the Aldasoro family has stayed an important part of the community.
Since the Aldasoro ranch began development in the early 1990s the Aldasoro family maintained the core of the large property exclusively for the family. This land with its spectacular views and rich history is being opened up to the public for the first time through our own version of the Sleigh Ride.

Private Dinner Wagon Rides
Available Wednesdays-Saturday
This Winter Telluride Sleighs and Wagons will be offering private dinner sleigh rides twice a night. Each ride is limited to one booking. These private rides allow you and your guests to experience Telluride in a way unlike any other. This exclusive experience will be a lasting memory.
4:30 PM Ride $1,500* for 1-6 guests, base price, BYOB
$250 for additional adults, $150** for additional kids. 14 person max
4:30 p.m. Pick-up at a location of your choice
4:55 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Arrive at the Aldasoro Family Ranch
5:00 p.m.-5:20 p.m. Wagon ride with horses to dinner site
5:20 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. Our take on Spanish Tapas served and welcome cocktail
5:30 p.m.-6:45 p.m. Enjoy dinner at our authentic sheep camp
6:45 p.m.-6:55 p.m. Return wagon ride with horses to transportation vehicle
7:30 p.m. Arrive at drop off location of your choice
If you have a baby or infant that you want to bring on the ride you must provide and install your own carseats.

We have partnered with Mountain Village Wine Merchant to supply a curated wine selection with Sommelier Bryan Thames. These can be ordered ahead of your dinner and will be available on-site upon your arrival.
AFTER you have made your reservation please fill out the Confirmation Form to pick-up location and meal choices
Cancellation Policy: All reservations are charged a $50 per person deposit 2 weeks in advance. You will receive a separate email to collect this deposit. If you do not complete the deposit your reservation will be released. Deposits are refundable up to one week (7 days) before reservation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or no-shows will be charged the full price of the reservation.
